Rauma Race is a city adventure where teams complete experiential and fun checkpoints around the city.

The age limit for the event is 18 years.

At the Rauma Race event, teams venture around the city completing the most imaginative checkpoints together. Can you collectively extinguish roaring flames, who can pull off the best performance in the running bench, do you have the wits for intellectually demanding tasks, and who will emerge as the victor in the gladiator battle?

WHAT DOES IT COST?

Participating in the Rauma Race city adventure costs 40 euros per team. A team can consist of 2-4 people.

  • Rauma Race is a city adventure where teams navigate through the city, completing tasks at checkpoints marked on a map. The event is not about racing against time but about challenging yourself with various tasks and puzzles at the checkpoints.

  • The checkpoints feature surprising, adventurous, and intellectually challenging tasks that require teamwork. At Rauma Race, you might, for example, try to extinguish roaring flames together, see who can achieve the best performance in the running bench, test your smarts with intellectually demanding tasks, and compete in a gladiator battle to emerge victorious.

  • Anyone of legal age is welcome to participate in Rauma Race! You can join with friends or colleagues. Form a team of 2–4 people and sign up your team! Participation costs 40 euros per team.

  • Some tasks challenge teams physically, so comfortable, sporty attire is a good choice for the event day.

  • The official after-party of Rauma Race will take place at Bar Hehku after the checkpoints close, starting at 18:00 and continuing into the late hours for the most energetic participants! It's worth attending the after-party because with your Rauma Race wristband, you'll get selected discounts at Hehku. Additionally, among those who return their checkpoint passes, there will be a raffle for tickets to the Rauma Sunset festival.

  • Rauma Race is organized by the Rauma Junior Chamber International (JCI) in collaboration with checkpoint partners. Thanks are due to the main partner, the City of Rauma, and to Oras, LähiTapiola Western Finland, HKScan, Rauma Marine Constructions, Metsä Group, Kongsberg, UPM and Alfa Laval.

  • Yes! Checkpoint partner companies offer their summer employees the opportunity to participate in Rauma Race for free. Separate registration instructions have been provided to the HR departments of these companies, so please contact them for more information!
